This document provides operating instructions for our LED props.
After receiving your package, please carefully check the contents during unboxing. In addition to the main props, the package may include additional accessories. These are usually packed in a small transparent bag and attached to the main prop with tape. Unfortunately, there have been cases where accessories were accidentally discarded along with the packaging.
Inside the package you will find:
a pair of LED props;
a small bag containing two USB Type-C cables.
This section describes all control elements and important details of using the props.
The main power button is located on the prop body.
You can also turn the prop on and off using the mobile application.
⚠ Important:
If you turn off the prop via the app, it enters standby mode and continues to consume battery power. This may result in complete battery discharge. For this reason, we recommend always turning the prop off using the physical power button on the device.
The prop is designed with a replaceable battery. You can purchase additional batteries and replace them when needed, for example during events where charging is not available.
The prop can be charged using any USB port on a PC or a mobile phone power adapter. Charging cables are included in the package.
To charge the prop:
Connect the USB cable to a power source.
Connect the cable to the charging port on the prop body.
A light indicator near the charging port will turn on:
Red light — charging in progress;
Blue light — battery fully charged.
banlanX is a mobile application designed for controlling LED props. The app allows you to:
connect to props;
select and customize lighting effects;
control colors, brightness, and animation speed;
save and switch between modes.
Open Google Play.
Search for banlanX.
Tap Install and wait for the installation to complete.
Open App Store.
Search for banlanX.
Tap Download and confirm installation (Face ID / Touch ID / password).
Launch the banlanX app and grant the required permissions:
Bluetooth — required to connect to LED props;
Location (Android) — required for Bluetooth operation.
After launch, the main application screen will open.
Before launching the app, enable Bluetooth on your phone and power on the prop.
The prop can also operate without a battery if connected directly to a charger.
After launching the app, a “+” icon will appear at the top of the screen. Tap it to add devices one by one.
Once devices are added, tap “+” again to create a group and combine multiple devices.
After successful connection, control elements will become active.
You can control each prop individually by disconnecting from one device and connecting to another.
When devices are grouped, all props in the group are controlled simultaneously.
Go to the Effects section.
Select the desired effect from the list.
The effect is applied automatically.
Examples of effects:
static color;
running fire;
rainbow;
pulsation;
color transitions.
Open the Color section.
Select a color using the color wheel or RGB sliders.
Changes are applied in real time.
Locate the Brightness slider:
move right — increase brightness;
move left — decrease brightness.
Maximum brightness increases power consumption.
In the effect settings, find the Speed parameter.
Adjust the animation speed using the slider.
Changes apply immediately.
Configure the effect, color, and parameters.
Tap Save Mode.
Enter a name for the mode.
The mode will appear in the list of saved modes.
Open the My Modes section.
Select a saved mode.
It will be applied instantly.
Solution:
make sure the prop is powered on;
ensure Bluetooth is enabled;
move the phone closer to the controller;
restart the app.
If the issue persists, connect the prop to a charger and repeat the steps above.
Solution:
update the app to the latest version;
restart your phone;
make sure the device has sufficient free memory.
Reducing brightness significantly increases battery life.
Save required modes in advance before performances or events.
Always recharge props before important events.
You can purchase spare batteries and quickly replace depleted ones with charged batteries.
Keep the app updated to ensure stable performance.
!!! This information concerns an older version of props with radio control. Props with radio control are no longer in production. We have transitioned to a convenient phone app.
- (OLD VERSION) Working with remotes: The props are equipped with two remotes that can be controlled as each with his own fan/buugeng, so one remote control can control a pair. Each the remote is equipped with a replaceable CR2025 battery. The battery is not rechargeable, so we recommend purchasing a stock.
- (OLD VERSION) The main control keys on the remote and their combinations:
MODE + / MODE is a mode switch that includes both dynamic modes and static colors. MODE + switches the mode forward, MODE- returns to the previous one.
MENU AUTO includes a demonstration of all modes.
SPEED + / SPEED- in dynamic modes adjust the speed displaying the mode itself, in static mode they adjust the brightness.
Let's take a closer look at brightness control. This is a very useful feature, which allows you to save power and increase the operating time of the props. For using it, press one of the static colors (WRGB) on the remote control and then use the SPEED + \ SPEED- buttons in order to increase or decrease brightness. The props will remember the brightness you selected and will apply it not only to static colors, but also to dynamic modes.
DIY buttons let you work with your favorite modes. If you like a mode and do not want to search for it again, you can add it to your favorites by using the ADD DIY button. In turn, the DEL DIY button removes the mode from the chosen one. DIY + \ DIY- lets you switch between the modes you added to favorites. You can add to favorites both dynamic modes and static colors.
W R G B are static colors (white, red, green and blue).
- (OLD VERSION)Since the delivery set includes two remotes, you have the opportunity to do so, that a pair of props is controlled by either one remote control or each unit props were controlled by their own remote control. By default, any of the remotes in the kit controls both props at the same time. For example, you turned on two fans/buugengs and pressed with any remote control MODE +. Regardless of the selected modes, on two props the next mode will switch. Both props will respond to any manipulations with one (any) remote control. Since for the connection between the props and the remote control uses a radio signal, due to interference one of the fans/buugengs may miss this signal and not receive it, as a result of which desynchronization of modes between two props. In order to synchronize props, press the MENU AUTO button, or W \ R \ G \ B. In order to more accurately control each fan/buugeng we recommend that you attach each remote to its own props unit. Take one remote and one
the props unit, turn on the props itself from the button on the base, hold down the G button on the remote until the props blink. From now on, this props will be work only with this remote control and will not respond to the second remote control. For, to detach a props from a certain remote control, it is necessary on any remote control hold down the W button until the props blink. After you untie a unit of props from a specific remote control, the props will respond to any remote controller. By binding each remote to its own props unit, you can control each by the props unit regardless of when they are included. On shutdown the linking of the remotes is saved.
